THE PROCESS
We begin with the end in mind. Before we shoot any images, we need a plan for how they will be displayed in your home. The entire portrait process takes place in several different meetings with us. The Pre-Session Consultation, the Shoot, the Premiere + Ordering session, and Delivery.

Knowing the answer helps us create a plan for your session, shoot it in the best possible way to reach our end-goal, + show you images that thrill you to no end. So let us show you how the Portrait Process works.
THE PRE-SESSION CONSULTATION
First, let's talk goals! What final result are we shooting for + how will we plan it? From what to wear, to how images will be displayed, color design, location planning + look + feel of the session, the pre-consultation answers ALL your questions + helps us get to know you an/or your family. We will coordinate how we shoot the session with what the final outcome will be. Your shoot is NOT happenstance. It is carefully planned + fully designed. Pre-consults can take place in-person or on the phone.
*A 30% non-refundable fee of your total balance is due at this time to hold your session date on our calendar*
SHOOTS AT THE STUDIO OR ON-LOCATION
Shoots can be somewhat stressful. They can take place in our studio in Virginia Beach, VA. We work with controlled studio lighting + backdrops. The studio offers a stylish + relaxed environment where we create a look that is sophisticated no matter what the weather. When the weather is warmer, we can take it outside! Sessions can take place at one of the many scenic locations in the Hampton Roads area. So consider carefully where you'd like to have your session, or we can recommend a location for you. We focus the portrait experience around just that, an amazing experience. We pride ourselves on exceptional customer service + a commitment to each family's relationship + the creation of unique art for your home.
THE PREMIERE + ORDERING APPOINTMENT
This is where the fun finishes! The Premiere + Ordering appointment is the time when you get to see all the fruits of the session pay off. Your images are shown on our tv. This is the time when you will finalize your portrait order, so be sure to pick a time where everyone can be there. We'll help you sort through the images + make final decisions on what will look best with your decor. We'll show you actual size + pair images together for a stunning album or wall gallery. We specialize in wall art, folio boxes, + heirloom albums. All of our products are sure to get you excited about what lies ahead!
DELIVERY
About 3-4 weeks later, your art piece will be ready for pick up. We'll call or email you to let you know it's here + make arrangements for you to take home the final result. And once those portraits are hanging, you can sit back + enjoy them EVERY DAY.
